I watched the britney spears documentry last night Britney: For the record.
Wow is all I can say. Sounds cheesy but I really liked how the documentry was filmed. And although most people out there, have their opinions about her and will never change, I feel like she set a lot of things straight in the documentry.
It was actually....really sad. Say what you will about her...she's still a human. Imagine goign through a divorce and a custody batle, all the while not being able to leave your house because of the swarms of people that will be there. Don't get me wrong -- others have it wayyyyyyy worse then britney spears. But I think the reason we can't connect to it is because her life is pretty much a life we could never even imagine.
Normal to her is having security with her 24/7 so she can go outside. She can't do the simple things she wants to do, and all the while, her life falls apart under the magnifying glass of the media.
Sure you can say she went crazy. Don't we all though? I can't imagine having a year of downfall after downfall, and having everyone know about it....and almost relish in it. Its bizzare to me.
Anyways, not to get all "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE" ...but seriously...it was quite sad to watch.
